God has made man and woman different from each other. Though both of them born from the abdomen of a woman. This is the rule of nature. Man and women have too many differences in their sex organs. They have been made in the best possible way to ensure a smooth and healthy life.
Women usually release blood from their vagina once around in 30 days. This is called periods or menses. These periods or menses take around 4-7 days to stop. Some women experience heavy bleeding and some low to mild bleeding.
Spotting Continues After Period

But sometimes, women and girls are said to be complaining about they start to bleed once again after stopping of the periods. This bleeding maybe not in the same quantity which women experience during period days. They only feel spot, that is, a very little blood spot in the urine or with white discharge. If you are experiencing in the majority of the periodic cycle, then this is not a big concern. However, if it is your first time, you should consult your doctor or gynecologist.

Causes of Spotting Continues After Period

There is not a single cause behind spotting that continues after a period. When we look into a broader spectrum, it is stated that hormonal fluctuations are the main cause of spots. But on a narrow scale, we need to elaborate deeply. That is why; we are jotting down some causes of spotting continue after a period:

1. Ovulation: Most of the women ovulate after 14 days of their menstrual cycle. For example, if your period comes in 30 days, then you will most probably ovulate in 16 days from the first day of the period. Ovulation is the phase in which women ovaries release eggs and after that in the luteal phase, eggs can be fertilized by a sperm, if you are doing unprotected sex. During ovulation days, women may experience spotting.

2. Leftover blood: Sometimes it happens that some blood remains in the uterus and comes out of your vagina after few days when your menses stop.

3. Perimenopause: It is also called the menopause transition and refers to the situation when women start to spotting before menopause. It happens normally 4 years before menopause and most common in women aged around 40 years. However, it may happen in 30 years or less aged girls. The average Perimenopause as mentioned in 4 years but it could vary to even a few months and even to 10 years.

Depression: It has been observed that women who take a lot of depression or stress often find experiencing spotting continues after the period ends. These women are reported to be suffering from irregularity. There is research that clearly explains that too much stress could cause infertility in women. So stress is as dangerous for women as for men and could cause infertility issues in both of them.

As mentioned above, spotting continues after the period is not a big concerning issue. However, as a woman, you can better judge whether you should consult your gynecologist or not. But my personal recommendation is to consult your gynecologist at least once for this.
